Bringing liquids onto the plane is fine, but it’s (supposed to be) an issue with bringing liquids through security, since it could be something like gasoline or some other hazardous liquid. If you fill your bottle with water or buy a drink inside the secure area, it has theoretically already been vetted and is safe to take onboard (though I bet there’s really a bunch of security theatre happening there, too).
There’s some unspoken words there:
We cannot aford ideas without a plan for implementation or funding.
“…that must not impact our wealthy donors.”
Just now. We missed it.
Good. We need to stop producing so much plastic
waste.

Thank you for your attention to this matter
Probably when you quickly roll the plane a small amount left and right, waggling the wings up and down and acting as a wave to those on the ground.
Wait, isn’t this article about the US ABC? The Disney-flavoured one?
If it’s glass, they could just break the fourth wall and get out
Same with federal officials, like at customs, where they typically start with “hello, bonjour”. Reply “bonjour”, and you may quickly reveal yourself to be a francophony.
It never got higher than a few hundred feet. It took off and then just slowly drifted down and hit the ground.
One expert suspected a possible takeoff config issue, like flaps and slats not being set correctly. It did appear sluggish to lift off, and seemed to have a lack of lift once in the air, so I’d be inclined to agree.
There should be warnings to prevent that, because it’s a known issue that has been the cause of high-profile crashes before, so it will be interesting to hear what the ultimate cause turns out to be.
“This is extremely dangerous to our democracy” vibes
To be fair, they specified “western world”. If you look at the map of countries that recognize Palestine, it’s pretty glaring that a good chunk of Europe, Canada/US, and Australia/NZ don’t officially recognize it.
I mean, when you addressed what is frankly a minor, tangential part of the OP with an essay, it does come across as heavy-handed, even if that isn’t what you meant by it
USS Pete Hegseth, a US Navy garbage scow
That’s actually a persistent myth. I’ve heard it myself as a wearer of an iron ring, but it isn’t true. The myth was that the first iron rings were made from the remains of the first Quebec Bridge, but they weren’t, let alone any over the century since. The bridge collapse did inspire the creation of the iron rings, though.
